How To Have Radiant Skin

One of my favorite ways to treat myself is to go to
the spa. Even when I was a little girl, I would create
play-spa experiences….I don’t know what it is, but
I can just really let go when I sink into some
good, old-fashioned pampering.

But since it’s simply not possible to go to the spa other
than on special occasions, I find ways to pamper
myself at home, which is lots of fun, too.

One of those ways is through body scrubs. I use
Them in the bath or shower, and some of the benefits
are that they remove dead skin cells and improve
circulation (giving your skin a smooth, rosy glow);
plus, they help to prevent ingrown hairs. Lastly, they
drop you into your sensuality, a good thing for whenever you feel
the need to shift our of your mom or business woman mode
and into your own womanly deliciousness.

Here’s a recipe for a sugar/honey scrub. It’s
affordable, moisturizing, and easy (just head to your kitchen…).

To get started, you will need:

-1/2 cup sugar
-Enough honey to moisten the sugar with
-Olive oil, avocado oil or vitamin E oil
– Your favorite essential oil
Mix together in a bowl with your hands until
blended. (If your skin is oily, add some lemon
juice; if you have dry skin, add more oil. And,
if, after sitting a while you find that it turned
liquid, just add a bit more sugar to it.)
Enjoy!
