New Moon, Planting Seeds

Yoga Teacher Training in Chiang Mai, ThailandIt’s Sunday afternoon here. Thunder, lightening, heavy rain: rare for Boulder. I like it. I’ve been spending the past few days packing and preparing for my trip back to Chiang Mai tonight. It will be the fifth time I have flown across the world in the past ten months. Yikes….

As usual, I am bringing way too much stuff. I like to travel with my mobile nest. Mostly books, and, this time, my yoga bolster!

Amidst the flurry of leaving, I took some time this morning for a couple of hours of yin yoga followed by a long, hot bath. The new moon beckons us to slow down, get quiet, and listen inside.

Get cozy with a cup of chamomile tea, put your feet up, get your journal out, and plant some “seeds” for the next 30 days.

Here are some of mine:

  1. Be the best I have ever been (teacher, friend, leader), in every way, while heading a transformative, successful, and harmonious yoga teacher training this month.
  2. Stay on top of self-care. Daily yoga, meditation, good sleep, walks in nature, weekly massages during the course.
  3. Remember to have fun and be 100% myself while I grow my boundaries and tinker on my edge.

See you in Chiang Mai!

    Hi Sara,
I am really enjoying your blog.
I was looking into your teacher training earlier this year, and will, regretfully, not be able to attend. I hope it is a time of great abundance.
    Best,
    Beth
