The Cove (directed by a fellow Boulderite) just opened in theaters around the country this weekend. Over the past few months it’s had advanced screenings around the world.
If you haven’t seen it yet, please DO. Soon. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long while. (Read the reviews here).
Winner of the Audience Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, this documentary/eco-thriller lifts the veil on the real story behind Flipper, Sea World, and the fate of thousands upon thousands of the world’s dolphins.
What the film crew has risked and created here is not only compelling and artistic, but also truly heroic. It will tug at your heart strings and keep you on the edge of your seat!
I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to open your mind and heart to this reality.
